This year’s TEE is taking place at a beautiful lake of Ohrid, in Macedonia, from February 12-15. It is organized with help of Eleonora Delova, a TEE 2004 participant, who is member of the local group Akcija Zdruzenska from Skopje, Macedonia.
TEE 2005 gathers 17 women participants, out of which 7 are new to WITT. Participants are coming from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France and the Netherlands.
TEE will last for 4 days. First day will be dedicated to introducing new women to WITT: its history, structure and features: SDP, FP, TEE and presentation of NA researches recently conducted both in Bulgaria and Macedonia. We will also have several participants’ presentations that took part in events like ESF, WSF and WSIS through the prism of ICTs. We will end the day wit a projection of a film "Password" that could be later be used to do hands on work for the "Bringing women’s activities to the spotlight on the web - how to write to be read worldwide" training, which is a two day training taking place on the following two days.
New WITT’s web site, that has been developed in the past six months using a FS on-line publishing tool SPIP – will be publicly presented here for the first time. Following this presentation, there will be a training of how to publish articles on the web using SPIP that would enable participants to contribute to our new web site. We will have a sightseeing tour organized as well.
After TEE, a CG meeting will be held, where we would remind ourselves of our goals, focus on developing our structure, proceeding with registration process and deal with further strategic planning. |
